We all know that new actions are required to get new results. But how do we decide on these new behaviors. In the moment when we need to do something new (coach a client, eat something different, say the right thing on a sales call), our behavior is governed by 2 things.
The first is our training. Our conditioning. What we have spent time doing and building our muscle memory. This is the low and slow method of skill-building.
The second is our identity. Who we are. How the deepest parts of us already know how to behave and perform. This is the fast and radical way people change in an instant.
You’re incredibly smart and talented. If you weren’t, you probably wouldn’t be listening to this show. It is time you decide to be the person who gets the results you want.
You know what else is cool. Now that I’ve taught you this example, you can do this with your clients over and over again.
